Each year TFA donates a portion of all membership dues to a charitable organization. Our goal is to support charities that have a connection to health and fitness, and we hope our members can be proud that a portion of their dues are going to support great organizations.
TFA partnered with Benefits Association, Inc. (BAI) and Morgan White Group (MWG) to host a fun outing for the local Boys and Girls Club. 360 kids and 105 volunteers had a great day at the Mississippi Children's Museum and LeFleur's Bluff Complex. Not only did the kids enjoy exploring the museum, playing flag football, and other games, but each child also received lunch, snacks, and an extra meal to take home. The combined efforts of TFA, BAI, and MWG allowed for a wonderful day for all under sunny skies.
Southern Christian Services provides children and family services throughout the state of Mississippi. One of many services is the Therapeutic Group Homes for children and youth ages 10 through 20 who are unable to remain in their own homes. These homes feature family-style living while providing individualized plans for healing and hope for a better tomorrow.
TFA donated over $40,000 to Southern Christian Services, and the funds were primarily used for renovations, including a new roof, to the Joe Rowland Therapeutic Group Home for Boys located in Grenada, MS.
As TFA continues to grow, we are able to spread our giving to more charities and ministries. During 2022, TFA donated a total of approximately $44,000 to the following non-profit organizations and projects:
Our donation paid for the purchase and installation of a new scoreboard in the gym. We also purchased teen study Bibles for all of the kids in their program as well as Academy Sports gift cards for the kids to get new sports equipment for Christmas.
IHS serves the central Mississippi area by providing Christ-centered ministries to at-risk children, juvenile offenders, and their families. TFA made a general donation toward their sports ministry.
Lifeline serves women in unexpected pregnancies across the United States by connecting them to resources, providing options counseling, and assisting them with an adoption plan if they desire. TFA made a donation to their general fundraising budget.
Serving hearing and speech impaired children from all over Mississippi and beyond, Magnolia Speech School is a thought leader among institutions nationwide. They have recently completed construction of a new campus, and TFA made a donation to assist in equipping their new facilities.

For more than 20 years, Mission First has served areas of need in the inner city. The scope of services offered by the organization includes a medical clinic, dental clinic, and a legal aid office. However, it was the Sports Ministry that resonated with TFA. The ministry partners with New Orleans Saints linebacker Demario Davis and focuses on developing youth through coaching, tutoring and Bible study.
We worked with their Sports Ministry Director to identify some of their current equipment needs for the after-school and summer sports programs. In December, 2021, TFA purchased and donated approximately $9,000 of new equipment, including:
